Ardent Expands National Footprint with Move to Northspring | King Street

Ardent, one of the UK’s leading land, property and infrastructure consultancies, has expanded into Manchester with a new office at Northspring | King Street. This completes a trio of Northspring locations for the business alongside its existing offices in Leeds and Birmingham.

Having already made full use of the amenities at Northspring’s Manchester properties, the team at Ardent saw a clear opportunity to grow their presence in the city with a permanent base at King Street. The move comes at a time of significant momentum for Ardent in the North West with recent appointments and regeneration opportunities shaping their strategic priorities.

A STRATEGIC STEP FOR NORTHERN GROWTH

“Manchester has been a strategic focus for our business for several years and recent momentum has only strengthened that position” said Carl Weaver, Chief Operating Officer at Ardent. “With our successful appointment to the Transport for Greater Manchester Estates Framework and the exciting potential of regeneration opportunities in areas like Old Trafford, the region presents a significant platform for growth. Combined with access to a broader talent pool to support the continued development of our team we believe now is the right time to establish a permanent base in Manchester.”

Completing the Northspring Hat-trick

“We’re thrilled to be expanding our partnership with Northspring, already home to our offices in Leeds and Birmingham, by adding Manchester to the mix and completing the hat-trick” said Carl. “When the opportunity to secure a space on King Street arose it felt like a natural fit. Not only is the location ideal, within easy reach of Manchester’s three main train stations, but the space itself is exceptional. It offers a high-quality professional environment designed to support flexible collaborative working and create a place our people will genuinely enjoy and feel proud to be part of.”

A Space That Reflects Their Culture

“Finding the right office this time around was refreshingly straightforward” Carl added. “Having already worked with Northspring on our Leeds and Birmingham spaces over the past two years we knew exactly what to expect, high quality thoughtfully designed environments that support both collaboration and individual focus. Extending our partnership for our new Manchester base was a clear and confident decision making the process smooth and reassuring from the very start.”
The team has chosen an Adapted and Adjusted lease at King Street allowing them to tailor their space to include a boardroom and Zoom room to support their hybrid working model.

Ready to Make the Most of the Space

“One of the standout features of the new office is its unique circular meeting room with stunning views over St Ann’s Square, an inspiring space for both team collaboration and client meetings” Carl noted. “And if Manchester’s famously unpredictable weather plays along we’re especially looking forward to making use of the outdoor terrace. It’s the perfect spot for summer drinks and informal events giving us a great opportunity to host clients and connect in a more relaxed setting.”

Northspring Welcomes Ardent to King Street

Helen Brennan, Northspring’s Customer Care Manager, commented: “Having already welcomed Ardent teams to our properties in Leeds and Birmingham it’s fantastic to now see them move into King Street. Their use of Manchester’s shared amenities made it clear they needed a base of their own in the city. It’s a great fit and we’re excited to support them as they continue to grow in the North West.”
